Ultra Lite is divided into two phases. Phase I is done in five week intervals of eating a balanced carbohydrate/protein diet and eliminates many of the foods most people have food reactions too. This is the detoxification process. Between meals, patients take amino acid/vitamin packets to help balance blood sugar and eliminate hunger or cravings. When you have reached your target size and fat mass, Phase II is introduced. Over a ten week interval, Phase II reintroduces the foods that were removed from your diet in Phase I. During this time, food intake is increased while the number of packets is slowly decreased. For this time, your Health Practitioner closely records the reactions these newly-incorporated foods may stimulate, including weight gain overnight, stomach pain, facial swelling, etc. According to this information, the patient learns and writes their healthy life time eating plan.
